A little while ago I posted a video of a song written by Senator Orrin Hatch . The tonight show with Conan O’brien liked it and wanted to return the favor and performed their own Mormon Song.
Orrin Hatch’s Hannukah Song is nothing like the Adam Sandler Hannukah Song or the Fireside Songs. This video probably wasn’t meant to be funny but I find myself holding back a little bit of laughter as I watch it.

The Fireside Song is an LDS parody of Adam Sandler’s Chanukah Song. I’ve heard a couple versions but this one is pretty good.
I decided to include another since I like the performance better.
For those not familiar with the BYU and the honor code, beards are not allowed but mustaches are. Divine Comedy is a BYU student comedy troop. Here is a skit they did as a parody of the Justin Timberlake song, Sexy Back.
Most people have probably seen the Weird Al video for White and Nerdy. One of the best parts of the video is Donnie Osmond dancing in the background like a goon. Here is the unedited take with Donnie Osmond. You might notice they slow the song down for recording then in the final version the dance moves are much quicker and jumpy.
Yesterday I posted the original mormon rap. Since then, young mormons have made several lds themed rap or pop songs. In fact, Sons of Provo is a movie about a mock pop group and the soundtrack is loaded with funny mormon songs. Here is a creative rap video you might enjoy. I think I’ll post the weird al video of white and nerdy soon because that sums up a lot of lds humor and Donnie Osmand is in the video.
It’s an oldy but a goody. I’d say the song is about 20 years old! Also, a shout out to mormonvidz.com as a good resource for mormon videos.
Here is a funny tribute to the small towns of Utah. There were a few I’ve never heard of but I didn’t grow up in Utah.
