Ode to Riley Nelson’s Hair
If you watched the BYU football game September 30, 2011 you may have noticed the hair of Riley Nelson, the backup (maybe now the starter) quarterback. It was a bit long for BYU standards.
Well, after he drove the Cougars to the win, someone made a video asking for people to save his hair from the testing center. If you don’t know, BYU has a testing center that requires grooming to be up to BYU standards to take a test. It is unlikely Riley’s hair will meet those standards. There is even an article in the Daily Universe, the BYU newspaper about the hair.
Anyway, here is the video and it is pretty funny.
What do you think his coach Bronco Mendenhall said to him at 1:03-1:08 of the video when he grabs his head and gives him a hug? My guess is, “Great job Riley. Now get your hair cut.”

Silly boy, don’t you know that the ordinary rules don’t apply to football players?
You obviously weren’t around when I was and Jim McMahon had his infamous keggers. Sheesh, rookie.
